Canary Islands in December. A week on a boat.
Lanzarote, La Graciosa, Lobos, Fuerteventura. We sleep on board and go wherever the waves are. A few spots are still open. If the boat fills up, we go.
The crew isn't set yet. That's the whole point.
The trip happens if at least six people have committed by 25 October.
The plan
One week. Four islands. A boat full of people who want to surf.

- Monday 7 to Monday 14 December 2026. We confirm the exact arrival and departure day with the boat before anyone books.
- Where
- Start on Lanzarote. Then La Graciosa, Lobos, Fuerteventura — exactly where is decided each morning by the swell.
- Boat
- A surf charter with skipper and a guide who knows the spots. We're getting quotes right now.
- Cost
- Around €1,000 per person when the boat is full — list price with skipper, guide, cook and meals. Plus your flight. The exact price is set before you book.
What to expect
- Surf every day, wherever it's working — including spots you can't reach on foot
- Fresh cooking on board
- Yoga on deck in the morning — if you like

- Flight to Lanzarote

- Board and wetsuit if you bring your own — otherwise we rent locally
How it works
Crew first. Then the boat.

- Goal reached? We go.If at least six people have committed by 25 October, we book. If not, the trip is off — and you haven't paid anything.
- You book your spot with the operator.Directly with the boat operator, and that's where you pay. We bring the people together and plan the week.
The week, roughly
- Mon 7 DecArrive on Lanzarote, get on the boat, first session if the light allows
- Tue–SatWe chase the swell: La Graciosa, Lobos, north coast of Fuerteventura. The guide decides each morning where it's working
- Sat 12 DecLast full day, evening on deck, music, wrap-up
- Sun 13 DecMorning session, back to the marina

The route is a plan, not a promise. In the end, the swell decides.

What you'll want to know
Do I need to know anyone in the crew?
No. Part of the crew are friends of mine, the rest are people who are just as keen on the week. Before you commit, you see who's coming.
What does it cost?
Around €1,000 per person when the boat is full. That's the list price for a surf charter with skipper, guide, cook and meals. Your flight to Lanzarote comes on top. You get the exact price before you book anything.
What if the boat doesn't fill up?
Then we don't go. The deadline is 25 October. Nobody has paid anything by then.
Who do I book and pay with?
Directly with the boat operator. We bring the crew together and plan the week — your money goes to the operator, not to us.
Can I bring friends?
Of course. Just say in your request how many of you there are.
